My New Years resolution this year was to follow my dreams and become more like my idol, Demi Lovato. What better way to do that than to get a start in the entertainment industry the same way she did! Makenzie WallerHello! My name is Makenzie Waller. I am a 16-year-old, junior in high school. Ever since I was little I’ve always had a passion to dance, sing, and act. I danced at a local dance studio from when I was about 5 years old to 14 years old. I then decided that competitive cheerleading was more for me than dancing. Although I love competitive cheerleading, I swear I’m still a dancer at heart. When it comes to singing, that’s a different story. Singing is something that just comes natural to me and it always will be. When I was in Elementary school, I was in my school’s choir all five years. Then I moved up to middle school, where I was in the choir all three years along with being selected to be in the school’s select choir my seventh and eighth grade year. Now I am in high school and am currently in my school’s Varsity choir as a Junior. My school’s Varsity choir is known for being one of the bests in the state. I am also the junior editor of my high school’s yearbook. My friends tell me I am crazy outgoing, which sometimes can’t be a good thing. But I’m not afraid of putting myself out there in the world. I can’t tell you how amazing it would be to get an opportunity of a lifetime like this!
