I have done choir for 5 years and drama for 2 years and I simply fell in love with the arts. I have done a Haunted House at my school, which was really fun experience I got to be a evil Frankenstein doctor that got to to experiments on psychotic prisoners in an insane assylum. My own family didn’t even recognize me when they went through. It was a fun experience. I have also been in 2 productions; South Pacific where I played Nellie Forbush’s best friend Dinah Murphy, The Whiz where I was in the ensemble. Since I’ve done choir, my teacher has always told us to put character into the songs that we sang; for example we did On My Own from Les Miserables, 12 Days After Christmas( which was basically the story that happen after Christmas when the girl finds out that her boyfriend bought her cheap gifts for her), and we also did a song called Taylor the Latte Boy( which was about a hot guy who sings and plays guitar that works at a coffee shop and all the girls who meet him just falls in love with him and every girl wants him but the reality is that he already has a girl and he brakes all the girls hearts when they see him with his girl). Being in choir and drama, in high school, was the best time I ever had. I was something that I considered in doing for the rest of my life. But the main reason I want to be an actor is to bring joy and happiness for the screen or stage. I want to put a smile on audiences face when they see me put on a show for them. And as long as I see that I know that I did my job, I know that I did what I was suppose to do. My character set and the ability to fall into characters, is an easy transition to numerous individualities.
