Vampire Diaries – The CW

The program follows Dobrev’s Elena Gilbert, who’s life in her sleepy town of Mystic Falls, Virginia is turned upside down when vampire brothers Stefan and Damon Salvatore (Wesley and Somerhalder) return to the town after 145 years and begin to fight for her affections. The show is filled with romance, intrigue and the supernatural and has quickly become the television equivalent of the mega-hit Twilight films. Millions of rabid viewers turn in each and every week to witness the latest mystical adventures and romantic entanglements of the talented young cast and now you can be the next gifted performer discovered for this fantastic series.     Hello, I’m 14 years old, turning 15. I don’t really study drama and theatre but I would love to be klaus and Hayley’s child if the child is a girl, because of my age, I don’t think I would fit in any other way. I am fairly short which may be considered as good. I’ve been called sweet most of the time because I look younger than I am because of how tall I am. I’m around 4ft 9. I have jet black hair and have rarely red highlights in it. I have brown eyes. I don’t think I’m stunning, I’m not fake like a lot of girls who plaster theirselves up with makeup. Although I do care quite a lot about my appearance and what people think about me. I have many hobbies like swimming, gymnastics and piano. I also like many other type of sports and use to play guitar. I now teach myself to do gymnastics and play the guitar and piano although I do have a teacher in piano to help me pass my grades. Now I am on grade 5, but haven’t started it yet because I have recently just managed to get a merit in my grade 3 and skipped grade 4. I also like writing stories, my friends say I’m quite good and are dying to read the next chapter. I first wanted to take acting as a career at a young age but never really had the guts to show anyone what I am capable of. I must not lie but sometimes my nerves get the better of me. I do hope that you consider me as the role I would die for to have a chance. There is one slight issue though, I have braces, which you may not consider me being in because of the distance and I have braces. I do hope that you are beyond the point of not giving me a chance because of a couple of flaws I have. Most people do have flaws, which makes us all human. My nationality is Chinese but I was adopted. So this is basically the main aspects of my life. I hope you guys have considered all of this.

    ps. Embarrassing fact: I often end up in front of my mirror, all dressed up in a made up character and throwing dialogues out. Oh oh, and I can totally cry, tearing up whenever I want to( I had to mention it, since crying is what most of the characters has to do in This show.)

    Firstly, I would like to state that I have NO experience when it comes to acting. However, I am a fast learner and I have been a TVD fan since the beginning (so I am pretty much aware of how things are going on the show). I speak fluent English (even American). And I always wanted to be the first person from my country to achieve something THIS big; since we are never noticed by Hollywood . I know that the current cast is just amazing and I am nothing compared to them, but I believe that I can learn quickly enough to act properly (obviously not as good as them).

I really enjoy the vampire stories, the reason why I really want to be considered for this part is because I am consistently told I should play a vampire role. I do not look like Nina or Claire, because of my curves, but it’s really not as bad as it may seem now and I’m working on it. I have to admit that I have never had any role in film or something besides of one for a bowling alley, but everyone started somewhere and would be so unbelievably happy to say yes, my first role was the one I had in The Vampire Diaries. I would love to be a part of your team, not only because I’m such a big fan that I guess it may be possible that I know every single line, it’s also because I am such an enthusiastic and different person.     I am one of the biggest fans of The Vampire Diaries, I have literally watched every episode over and over. I guess it’s safe to say I’m obsessed with it, but who isn’t? It’s a really great TV show, and I would absolutely LOVE to get a chance to act in it. I have been actin ever since I was a little kid, my mom would always sign me up for plays, and I loved doing them. I have been cutting back a little on acting for a while, but I am really hoping that I would be considered for being cast in the Vampire Diaries. I am a fast learner, it doesn’t take me that long to remember a scene, it could take me like 5 minutes minimum to remember all of my lines and actions. I always have a smile on my face, and I love making others laugh and smile. If I was ever to be on the Vampire Diaries, it would be the greatest accomplishment in my life, to be honest. I have never seen such a great TV show, ever. I am fluent in Russian, if that makes it interesting. I have spoken Russian, and a little Ukrainian over my childhood years, and I know the language well. I am very enthusiastic, and I love to get a job well done, I always put my best efforts into acting to make everything look as perfect as possible. I have been acting since fourth grade, performing in 4 shows a year (both in school and out of school), I perform in various one-acts and i assistant direct a show every year. I am about 5’6” and i am caucasian with brunette hair. I think that i should be considered because not only do I absolutely love the Vampire Diaries, but I love acting. It is everything I have ever wanted to do, there has never been a plan B, just theatre. I have also always wanted to be a part of a TV show because in all of the interviews, with not just TVD but other shows as well, the cast seems to be so well bonded, almost like a family, and I firmly believe that an enthusiastic, cooperative, diligent, and most of all, close cast is what truly allows for the best performances. I really believe that I can help contribute these attributes. I have one three theater awards at school, one at the end of last year for my work in my theater class, one at the end of the fall trimester for my work both on and off the stage (specifically line memorization, eh? thats a good trait to have ;)) in the Bald Soprano, which we brought to a state competition and won 3rd place out of 20 schools, and i won an award for the winter trimester for Assistant directing the school musical. I know this is a very serious and formal letter, but believe you me, that is not always my personality. Most of the time I am a major goofball (yea, i just said goofball. Thats whats up), but I take theatre very seriously.
