Casting Call for Photo Double for Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy 2”

Marvel is bringing back the Guardians of the Galaxy in their sequel to the film. “Guardians of the Galaxy 2” is now filming in Atlanta, Georgia and casting directors are looking for a photo double for one of the actors.

About the Movie

The film is being written and directed by the first film’s director James Gunn. According to Marvel, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” continues the team’s adventures as they unravel the mystery of Peter Quill’s true parentage. The film is bringing back the original Guardians, including Chris Pratt (“Jurassic World”) ; Zoe Saldana (“Star Trek Into Darkness”); Dave Bautista (“Spectre); Vin Diesel (“Furious 7”); Bradley Cooper (“American Sniper”); Michael Rooker (“Guardians of the Galaxy); Karen Gillan (“The Big Short”)and Sean Gunn (“Gilmore Girls”). New cast members include Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan and Kurt Russell.

What They Are Looking For

Casting for a Caucasian male who fits the following sizes (this is for a photo double role so those who would like to apply need to match the stats for the actor they will be standing in for)
– Caucasian
– MALE
– age 35 to 65
– brown or blonde hair
– 5’10” to 6’’0”
– between size 42 to 44 jacket
– size 34 to 36 waist
– clean shaven or facial hair ok (must be willing to shape facial hair or shave if needed)

Important Information

The shoot will be in Atlanta, Georgia so you must be local to the Greater Atlanta area to be considered or be willing to work as a local (meaning no travel or accommodations will be paid).

Interview Dates will be Monday, April 11th in the morning in Fayetteville.

Shoot Dates: Wednesday, April 13th and Thursday, April 14th.

Pay Rate: $140.00 for 12 hours with overtime after 12 hours
