Do you want to be in a move?  Emmy Award winner and Golden Globe nominee John Leguizamo is starring in and directing the upcoming film “Critical Thinking”.  A 2018 open casting call audition is being held for models and actors to be extras!  Casting directors are searching for talent of all ages but are specifically seeking men and women ages 18 and older to portray high school students.  This is a non-paid shoot.  Filming is scheduled to begin on November 17th and will run through mid-December.  It will be filming in the Miami, Florida area.  This is an incredible opportunity to gain some on-set experience and work with an incredible actor.  To sign up for the movie audition, view the casting call details below.

About “Critical Thinking”

Set in 1998, “Critical Thinking” is the true story of how a group of disparate kids from a working-class barrio west of downtown Miami are brought together by their inspirational chess coach, Mario Martinez (John Leguizamo), at Miami Jackson High School to become the first inner city school to win the U.S. National Chess Championship.

What They Are Looking For

We are currently casting Extras for the upcoming film “Critical Thinking” directed by John Leguizamo. We are looking for talent of all ages, specifically people over the age of 18 who look like they’re in high school. This is UNPAID, as we are looking for volunteers who would like to be extras in the movie. The project begins on November 17th and runs through mid-December.

The OPEN CASTING CALL is November 10th from 10am to 2pm. LOCATION: 11601 Biscayne Blvd, Suite 100 (parking not provided).

Experience is not required. Participants must be around 17-25 years old, but we are also looking for talent of ALL ages. Being on set is a truly amazing experience and an excellent place to begin a career in the entertainment industry.
