Have you always wanted to perform on stage? Are you ready for your chance at Fame? “Fame the Musical” is holding auditions for adult and teen actors. This exciting show will be performing in Coral Gables, Florida. Casting directors are looking for males and females of all ethnicities. This is a non-union production. Open call auditions are being held at on March 5th, 2017. The show will run at Area Stage Company’s theatre on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from May 5th through May 16th. “Fame the Musical” will be an incredible experience to be a part of as there will be a live orchestra. If you are interested in being considered or have a teen performer who would be perfect for the musical, attend the theatre auditions for the opportunity.

About Fame the Musical

Fame The Musical inspired generations to fight for fame and light up the sky like a flame! The show follows the final class of New York City’s celebrated High School for the Performing Arts from their admission in 1980 to their graduation in 1984. The show provides great opportunities to feature a diverse talent pool and showcase artistic mediums like dancing, singing, acting, rapping and musicianship.

What They Are Looking For

Casting directors are searching for male and female performers who dance, sing, act and more.  They prefer to audition teens and adults ages 13 and up.  They are open to people of all ethnicities.

Ages 13+ preferred

All ethnicities

Non-Union.

How to Apply

Open call auditions for Area Stage Company’s production of Fame The Musical will be held March 5th, 2017 at 5:00pm at 1560 S. Dixie Highway, Coral Gables, FL 33146.
