Ashley McGuireTop of the Morning… Or Night, Wow. Many applications have come in, but I’m gonna give it a shot. So, my name is Ashley. Ashley McGuire. I am 12, turning 13 I go to a Catholic School, and I have for about three years. I love constantly getting the label of innocent Catholic School girl. But, it is true. The whole uniform, no-makeup policy. Thats my school. Literally, ever since I came out of the womb, I have been singing. Singing. Singing. Singing. Singing. And you guessed it, singing. Its always really been a huge part of who I am. I remember when I got my karaoke machine for my fourth or fifth birthday, I would never sing the words to the actual song, I would freestyle. Make them up as I go. I would always look up onto the balconys in my house, pretending that people were watching me up there. People that were inspired by me. I just wanted that feeling so bad. To know that, I inspired others with my music, and that people would give up their time to see me. No, on second thought, I dont want it. I need it. I was never really good at sports, I mean, I tried playing them, but I never really was good at it. I still get bullied, but it dosen’t bother me as much like it did a while ago, anymore. I found a way to cope with everything. I love to write song. I have so many written, right now. I would write one whenever I was upset. My mom even knows. One time I asked for a puppy, and she said no, and I said to her “well thats not nice”, and she said, “Oh, just go write a song about it”! Whenever girls in my class hearted their I’s in their first name, and I couldn’t, guess what I did. I wrote a song about it! “Why cant I heart my I’s. Sometimes I wonder why. It makes me wanna cry, da da da da”. I’ve been writing them for as long as I remember. I didn’t matter if I have a 0.1 long old, green crayon with a napkin. I would still get lyrics onto the napkin. When I was too young to really rhyme, and understanding song writing, I would write little books of poetry. They didn’t rhyme, but they were still cute. I remember in third grade in latchekey (after school program), I started to write a little magazine that rhymed pretty much. I made some and showed other people, and I won a prize and sash for creativity, and excellent writing. So, anyway, I’ve always really loved singing and song writing. I CAN’T ever imagine doing anything else. I want to a professional singer, and actress. Not like anyone else. Like Ashley McGuire. I also love acting, and I would say that I am pretty good at it. Singing is my strongest, but I love acting, too. So, I would really love to be a part of Disney Channel, it’s something that I would really, really, really, really, really, love to kick- start my career. 🙂 Now down to the nitty- gritty stuff Height: 5’6 (I know, pretty tall for my age, right?) Deborah AchterbergWell, here’s a new one. I’m the grandma with some very talented grandchildren. With mom’s blessing, I think you should take a look and consider them for acting opportunities. They are all interested. Ashley, the oldest is 17 and model beautiful and very slim. She finished high school early and will finish 1st semester of college next month. She has had two years of acting lessons and has done theater and has had ten years of dance. Sierra is 15 and she too is model beautiful and very slim. She has had several years of dance. Third is Jada who is 12. She is the brainy one and really full of singing talent, The 4 year old twin, Sophia, has the most outrageous curly hair, and striking eyes and lips and so much personality. Kierstin LongI have received an offer from Disney before. I was in a show called Annie Get Your Gun and took the lead role as Annie. That year a man had approached me with a buisness card and told me he was affiliated with Disney and would like for me to consider working and auditioing for him. The year before I was in Cinderella but a different more alines twisted version, and was a lead role as a step-sister, who were comedians and “stole” the show. The very first show I was ever in, was the Wizard Of Oz and I landed the role of Dorthy. The year after was Peter Pan, and I was given the challenging role of Tinkerbell, which was a non-speaking part, but a very good and dramatic one at that. The following year I was the Cheshire Cat in Alice In Wonderland. The years after that were not well known plays and shows but I landed lead roles. My final year of middle school we performed Once On This Island and I landed a lead role as the actual leads mother. More recently in high school, I stated above that I was in Cinderella, Annie Get Your Gunn and this year I was in Grease. I landed the role of Frenchie. I also was in the Fall plays each year as well. I take my acting very seriously. I am able to sing, and act and dance depending on the diificulty, though I am improving. I want to help others and make the world a better place, help stop bullying and showing people what they are really worth in this world that they belong here in the world and when I was 11, my mother got remarried and I have been through a lot and I find music and dancing and helping others makes me forget about the past I feel like dancing makes me be who I am it shows my story, singing tells all my pain or my emotions that I feel throughout the day. I have been bullied since the 6th grade. It really hurts me that people say I am not good enough. I hate when people say you’ll be nothing. I just want to show people I can really be something in life. I have struggled through a lot and I am still here in this world trying to make a difference in my community and in the world, I want to help people not sit around and never use what i love to do best. Singing and dancing is my language, it expresses who I really am not who others want me to be. I am a great funny kid who just wants to be recognized in the world, I just want to be known, I just want to be a somebody instead of feeling like a nobody and this is how I want to show it, to kids and people around the world and kids who feel the same way I do. I have dreamed to be on Disney Channel, and I think I have what it takes to change the world and my home town. the world has great things for kids like me or even anybody. You can do anything you set your mind to and I believe this is my way of showing it. I have been in foster care since I was 13, I have forgotten my family a little bit and i have one now you loves me and cares for me and to me it makes me feel like a real kid and when I watch Disney Channel, I learn that I can be somebody and I want to show that to other people to. I would really love to be a star on here and it would mean the world to me if i made it on Disney. I wouldn’t feel hidden to the world and this channel shows kids that they can be bright. I just want to do that to other kids to. I want to make them feel bright, to touch their hearts and show them that they can do anything.
