Bits & Pieces – The Disney ChannelAttention all aspiring performers and Disney Channel fans. Danicia Smith-AshmoreHello my name is Danicia Smith-Ashmore and I am 16 years old.I’ve loved to perform and be on stage or in front of a camera since I was very young, and the desire to perform has grown admirably since then. I am currently in a specialized performing arts program in my high school called PVA “Performing and Visual Arts.” We had to audition to get in, the audition consisted of a one minute monologue and a song. I am very pleased to have gotten in. Since being there I have learned and studied in improvisation, Meisner, Commedia Mask, mime, ensemble work, directing, film technique, and even the occasional stage combat workshop. My passion and dedication to my acting really shines through when given the right opportunity, and I do believe that this show would give me that opportunity. I’ve always worked hard to get what I want and achieve my dreams, and this is no exception. Performing is a lifestyle for me, whether it’s writing a monologue or scene, acting in front of a camera, or choreographing ridiculous interpretive dance numbers to classic novels. I was with an agent for a while when i was youger but then felt that my “career” would take from school and other important events in my life.
