The Originals – The CW Casting Calls

One of the hottest shows on television has expanded it’s enchanting universe with it’s first spin off series and casting directors and producers are on the lookout for undiscovered performers to fill out the cast. The Vampire Diaries offshoot The Originals has proved to be just as popular with fans of the original and casting calls for a number of exciting roles for this mega-popular series are happening now. The Originals follows the fascinating Original family of vampires that was introduced during The Vampire Diaries season 2. Led by Klaus, the family and some exciting new characters will return to New Orleans,  the town that they helped build centuries ago. Like it’s predecessor  The Originals is a favorite for millions of  fans each and every week with it;s riveting stories filled with supernatural drama, action and romance. The stories are so very interesting to me. My name Alcantar derives from Spain in a province called Alcantara “where my name comes from” where there is an actual castle that lies in Alcantara, Toledo, Spain. My family name indeed does have their own military order named,”orden de alcantara” which means “The Order of Alcantara”. I love history because you never really know who you are until you know where it is that you came from. I also believe there is a story to be told there. My name is as old as the 11th century with plenty of battles in the Holy Crusades. Anyhow, my physical traits are dark brown hair with specs of gold, and a golden bronze skin tone. I believe I could even be added in as Esther’s sister “Daliah” descendant, for we have similar traits. I hope to be considered as an extra or even as a part of the show. I didn’t think i would like a spin off of the Vampire Diaries, But i was so wrong. Im hooked on both shows.

    And i am so in love with Elija 🙂 his character so charismatic and charming. It helps that he is so good looking too.

    The originals is something amazing to watch. In some episodes I would cry and cry I could make a connection with all the casting people in The originals. Klaus is someone I look up to, when I finish watching the episode I learn something new. If I would at least try to get in this show I would be so happy than ever. But if I don’t get in it, oh well I tried my best. I just want to become an actor but I would love to become one in the originals like I’ve tried become one but my mum things that is not good its boring like it won’t help me in the future. But I really want to be in this show I’ll try my best to at least try to get in. Once I’m an actor I could make a change, I could start doing lots of things since like my face has been shown already. In some of the darkest parts of my life, when I felt that there was no one I could turn to, all I could do was put on a face and tell myself, “Just keep your head up and no one has to know.” What I’m sharing isn’t something I’d spill to anybody so, bear with me. Why do I want to be apart of this show, because I feel like I’m capable of doing this. When people doubt you, you tend to do one of two things- begin to doubt yourself, or you prove them wrong. I know this because growing up the youngest of six has had its perks, though I’ve been doubted left and right. And I’ve learned for myself. At this point you may think that I’m trying to gain your sympathy, but that is far from my intensions. Where am I going with this?… Not so sure myself, but what I am sure of, is that I know what I want. And what I want is to act. I want to be able to deliver a script so well, that even I myself am amazed. I want to bring the audience and be able to put them in my shoes, to let know what My character is feeling, to laugh with me, cry with me, to be loved or feared by me. I want to know what it’s like to experience living two different lives without having to leave my first. And I feel that this show can do that, or at least get me on that path. And I’d be willing to take a long term or short term career. Before I close, to fully answer your question as to why I feel like I should be considered. It’s because watching this show, inspires me, and shows me further more that acting isn’t just a job, it’s a passion. And that is what I intend to portray on this show.
