Teen Wolf – MTV

MTV has seen it’s slate of scripted programming come alive in the last year with hits such as Awkward and The Inbetweeners but none have taken off quite like the supernatural hit Teen Wolf.  New episodes of this mesmerizing program are coming soon and casting directors and producers are searching far and wide for undiscovered talent for auditions and casting calls which they will be holding soon.

Teen Wolf is a dark spin on the hit feature film starring Michale J. Fox. Much like the Buffy The Vampire Slayer television adaptation creator Jeff Davis (Criminal Minds) has dropped the campy aspects of the original film and brought a whole new energy to the series. Teen Wolf follows awkward high school teen  Scott McCall who is attacked by a werewolf and inherits new and exciting powers. Scott experiences increased strength, hearing, sports prowess and self confidence, but all is not rosy for Scott as he must keep his new identity from all but a few trusted friends in his life as he protects those he loves from danger. The show features the talents of Tyler Posey (Lincoln Heights, Doc), Dylan O’Brien (High Road, The First Time), Tyler Hoechlin (7th Heaven, Hall Pass) and Crystal Reed (Crazy, Stupid, Love., Skyline) as the leads and now new roles are soon to be available. Teen Wolf is an exciting and whip-smart drama series and could be a major casting for up and coming actors looking to make their break in the world of television. The reason I think I would be really good in the show is that I am all about working with an ensemble, I am good at taking criticism (it helps me become a better actress), and I want to learn.     My name is Elizabeth. I am 15 and turning 16 in April. I am a sophomore(10th grade) in highschool and I’m small for my age so a lot of people mistake me for being in 6th or 7th grade. I live in Virginia and absolutely love teen wolf. I don’t have any experience in acting but I have always wanted to try it and I think teen wolf would be a great start. I have brown eyes and hair. I always have my hair in a low ponytail because I think I look better with straight hair. I have wavy and kinda curly( at the bottom) hair. I have a high and kinda soft voice. I have a sort of mixed personality, I can be funny and playful or I can be dark and secretive. I think I would be great for teen wolf because it seems like I could get along with the cast and I’m kind if shy and if I need help it seems like they would help me if I needed it. I love the supernatural and if someone were to quiz me on it I would most likely pass. I’m a pretty good detective and can figure things out. This is just a little about me and why I want to be on teen wolf and if you don’t think I could do it then that’s alright I can always try again If they have another season after 5. And I know my chances of being picked are extremely low but if you could at least consider me that Wouk be great.     Hi my name is Maddy and I’m a 15 year old girl (16 in June) who was born and lives in London. I am white, and of Australian descent, but also have family living in New York. I’ve been told I look older than I am, especially when I wear even a little bit of make up. Despite having an English accent (standard west London accent), I can do an American accent, and would be more than willing to have some voice coaching should I be needed to perfect it.

    I am roughly 5’3.5, and have big, bright blue eyes. I wear glasses but usually wear contacts. My hair is quite long and slightly wavy at the bottom, and is medium-dark brown, but I would be happy to change it if needs be. I am relatively slim I think, weighing about 53kg, and dance and run once a week, and also do yoga and fitness, so I am not unfit. But again, I would be happy to workout to tone up and create muscle definition or to improve my fitness if I needed to.

    I have always loved acting, and am currently taking drama for GCSE, which I will be completely at the end of this year (I’m in year 11 in English education standards). I have been in all the school plays I can be, including ‘Macbeth’ in November and ‘Guys and Dolls’ the year before that. I also love dancing and singing, and am on grade 5 violin and I can also play the piano, but acting is my real passion. I love being able to transform into a completely different character/person, and I am so dedicated to my art. For that reason, this August I am participating in a production of ‘Blood Wedding’ that is being taken to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and I am so excited for this! I can also speak Spanish (and Chinese!) and I will be able to use this skill in the Spanish play, which makes it even better. I can’t wait for this once in a lifetime experience, and would love to do more things like this in the future. I have wanted to be an actor from when I was about 3, so, I would love to be a part of the awesome, inspirational, amazingly talented cast of ‘Teen Wolf’.

    I have loved ‘Teen Wolf’ since about a year ago, because I don’t think its shown on TV here in England, which is annoying! 🙂 But since I started watching it, it has completely re-instilled my ambition to be an actor, and I have often wondered how awesome it would be to actually be in the show that I love more than anything in the world. I once watched 9 episodes in 2 days; if that’s not slightly obsessive, I don’t know what is! It would be such an enriching experience acting-wise, and I think I could learn so much from the masters that are the BRILLIANT cast and crew. Even if I was an extra, I would work so hard and hopefully impress everyone! It would help my dream of becoming an actress come true.     Heyy so I am Lucy, I’m 17 years old and 5′ 6″ tall. I hate talking about myself but I’m taking advice from my mother so here goes nothing; I’m an all round great person but honestly I have a pretty ordinary life, then again I’ve now heard what people say about me. (It all goes full circle people – if you don’t want them to find out what you think… don’t say it – That’s a great free life tip right there… )

    Anyways… I’ve going to be honest so I’m not going to tell you about how much I love the show or that I’m in absolute awe of the cast either because I wouldn’t want to back myself into a corner where I would have to tell you I have watched every episode and know the characters back to front (even though I do admire the diverse range of characters and I am a huge fan of Dylan – Hi *waves*) . However saying that, the episodes that I have seen, have been.. well so different to any other programme “like this” and the opportunity to be involved really inspired me so I thought that I should try to audition… maybe?

    I have had some previous experience in theatre schools and on the stage and have found it extremely enjoyable and an incredible experience. The people you meet are all so inspiring and I have made some wonderful friends through the different groups I have joined.
    I am very dedicated, hard working, reliable and friendly, I am currently studying for my AS level exams and although I don’t take theatre studies, it is still something I would love to do.

    I’m confident in front of a camera but acting has tought me how to be myself more than anything. I know that’s not really what you want to hear when looking for a potential actress you would definitely rather hear how diverse my range of acting skills are… But before taking drama at GCSE level I was shy, socially awkward and a shadow of my confident self. Now whilst squirming cringing and crying internally at some of the ridiculous things I do… On the outside its just funny.

    Personality wise I like to think that I’m witty, empathetic and energetic, but my friends would probably describe me as confident, possibly ostentatious, but always caring.

    Any involvement with this T.V. show would be an absolute honour, so I can only hope that you may consider me for even a minor role. I understand that I will be the 4425th response and that I may be too late or even just too far away as I have been born and bred in England (I live in Christleton, Chester, England, the World, the Universe) but I hope that if you read this you can see some potential in me.

I have watched every episode of teen wolf from back to front and I’m absolutely love Jeff Davis work he is an incredible writer and I just love his work. The rest if cast are amazing I’m really happy for Dylan o’brien especially he has come such a far way and I love his work he does like in maze runner and the first time.
