I’ve always watched the dancing in Disney movies and programmes and wished I could be doing it as well. Dejahne JonesHey my name is Dejahne Jones and I’m a 15 year old. I would love the opportunity to become a backup dancer for Shake It Up! Since I was around 12-13 years old,I’ve been more interested in Dancing or just the experience of being on stage doing something I love. I started out praise dancing at first when I was younger but then I started getting into other styles of dance. In my 7th grade year, me and my friend made a dance team, well let’s just say it didn’t exactly work. But in my 9th grade year(this past year), I joined my high school dance team. I had to audition my own dance and perform the dance they made. I was happy when I saw they picked me to be on it. This upcoming school year, I will be continuing my spot on the dance team and welcoming any freshman,sophomores,juniors or seniors who are picked to be on the team. Also, I enjoy watching Shake It Up, their dances are different and unpredictable everytime and I love them. To end this, I don’t have dancing experience as in attending a dance school ,but I believe dance is made through what the person feels when the music come on and they feel it in their body.
