I enjoy singing , meeting new people , going to different places, and as simple as it sounds, living my life. I have received many comments to pursue either singing or acting but I have been timid before. Now, I finally have the courage to put myself out there. I am living the college life and I am hoping this comment will be read and will help change my life because I honestly think I can do it. My mom and dad say I have a beautiful voice and so they encouraged me to email you in the hopes that you will consider me. I sing with my school’s choral ensemble which is an elective. This means you can choose to sing or do something else. I will be in 5th grade this fall 2014 and plan to audition for the a cappella group at my school. Right now I am learning to sing Sarah McLaughlin’s “Angel” and also learning how to play the notes on the piano. Abrianna BelvedereMy name is Abrianna and when I was about 3 years old my family started to say, “She hits the ground singing,” because I say every moment of the day. I was in my 4th and 5th grade elementary school ‘County Honors Choir” and was voted most valuable in 5th grade, I played the role of Alice in “Alice in Wonderland’ the musical in 5th grade and play Jasmine in our 7th grade production of ‘Aladdin’ also a musical. Recently, I played the lead role in my 8th grade production of ‘Hairspray’. It was a lot of fun. I sang in the 100 Girl Choir which was formed by girls across Georgia to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scouts. I also sang the National Anthem at Ted Turner Field / Braves Stadium before an Atlanta Braves game. It was Chipper Jones’ last game. It was an incredible honor. This past June I traveled to Ayre, Scotland with the CMYC choir and sang in many performances representing my hometown of Newnan, GA. Singing has brought so many wonderful opportunities to me. I had to put my dream on hold a few times in order to raise my family but I have always tried to get myself heard anytime I could get the chance whether singing gospel in church and entering talent contest from time to time. I am 42 and still yearn to have the chance to let the world hear me sing and have them decide on my degree of talent. I have raised up my children to the age that I can invest some time in pursuing my dream now. I know if given the opportunity to be heard I will meet and exceed the expectations of whoever hears me. I have always had people ask me why I don’t get on these TV shows that are out today and since hearing of rising star where the people make the decision I felt a calling to try and get on the show. Bryant ClementsHey guys! My name’s Bryant and I want to be the next Rising Star! I am 43 and have been singing for many years,but could never quite catch my big break. I lived in L.A. for 10yrs. and sang in a band with Athena Lee “Tommy Lee from Motley Crue’s sister” and have recorded with James Kottak from “The Scorpions” and Bruce Kulick from “Kiss” I have the experience and talent to hang with the best of them! My cousin,who was a great inspiration for me,passed away a few years ago. Him and I were the only musicians in our family and we sounded incredible together. He came to visit L.A. once,but unfortunately didn’t stay. I would love to finally have the chance,that we never got,to show the World what they have been missing!
