SynikaWords can not express how emotional I get when I speak of my weight. I have always been the “chunky” one of my friends. I don’t feel pretty when I look myself in the mirror. I’m always trying to find different ways to cover up my body with my clothes. Im 5’8 203lbs. I just want to feel beautiful and free within my own skin. All of my my siblings are slim and I’m the only fat one. I feel so uncomfortable when I go shopping and when I have to go in public and be around other people especially other females who are slim and fit. I always try to lose weight by eating right and working out but I always give up. I can never keep it up for more than 2 weeks because I let the things that negative people say affect me. I feel like I don’t have the strength to encourage myself. i look in the mirror and I cry sometimes. Its effecting my relationship with my boyfriend that I love with all of my heart. But sometimes I even feel like he doesn’t believe I can do it. I don’t have anyone motivating me. And it pisses me off that I can’t be that person for myself. I have a cousin who totally makes me feel uncomfortable whenever I’m around her. I feel like she points out every pound I weigh, every role in my back, and skin burn from my thighs rubbing together. Whenever I have to be around her I just want to crawl up in a ball and disappear. When I’m in public I feel like everyone is starting at my fat back or my stomach. I want to finally get myself together and do whatever it takes to finally lose this weight and tone up. Janie HoffmanI would for once love o be part of the solution instead of always being the one sitting back watching others change their lives, I watch and see myself onscreen but then at the end I’m still sitting here thinking it could never happen to me, to have the opportunity to be apart of something so life changing. All my life I’ve heard “you have such a pretty face and great personality” then that changed to ” you are so fat, I deserve to have a skinny wife for once in my life ( that from my husband of 17 years who left me for a 19 year old skinny girl”. Was this my fault? I have felt trapped in my body, all these years at night I lay down and imagine what it would be like to be healthy and living up to my potential to actually live for once. I am 42 years old and was offered modeling jobs at a younger age and even at that time I needed to lose weight. I am the person that everyone wants to have around cause I make them have fun and feel good by for once I would love for it to be the other way around.. Everyone I have ever met has told me I needed to be a n actress because I can take on rolls and brother people,, that’s easy to do when you don’t want to be yourself because of how you look.
