How To Rock stars the adorable and mega talented Cymphonique Miller as Kacey Simon, a young girl formerly popular in school who has a rude awakening when she is forced to wear braces and glasses. Her “cool” friends disown her because of her new appearance so is forced to take on a new outlook on her young life. She quickly finds a group of new, true friends who do not get caught up on superficialities and decides to develop her talent for music by forming a band with them. In a fitting twist Kaceys former friends have a band themselves and a natural rivalry begins. Based on a series of popular young adult books, the How To Rock show has a deep pool of story lines to keep their audience of millions hooked for seasons to come. My name is Charlotte Morgan and I’m eighteen years old. I’m living in Traverse City, Michigan now before going to the New York Film Academy for acting. Acting is something I’ve always been passionate for although I’ve done my share of swapping back and forth between acting, modeling, singing, directing, and editing. I opened what I called my small “film company” when I was thirteen and did many small productions. I was a figure skater for five or six years where I performed in the show Annie and Greece on ice as well as competed in many competitions. Figure skating taught me how to perform in front of a crowd and not to be stage fright or anything. It gave me confidence. I modeled for two or three years and was able to meet a bunch of really cool people like being able to work with Bruce Dale of National Geographic. I quit film making and acting when I started traveling the country to play a competitive card game called Magic: The Gathering. Thanks to Magic I was exposed to another world and able to gain maturity and learn a lot as it’s one of most complicated (if not most) games in the world. I started going to film school at the career tech center and did a bunch of producing, directing, and editing and after my recent visit with the New York Film Academy I’ve decided I want to completely dedicate myself to acting.
