Matthew Christian RocheI´m frequently told I should audition for Game of Thrones or Vikings and I people call me ´Drogo´even if I´m dressed more inconspicuously. I have been training my body hard since I lost a leg and have a warrior-set body and an equivalent clothing style to boot. I embrace the ´warrior´role when performing at festival events and outside of them as well. I am studying in medieval martial arts, combining mixed weaponry to hand-to-hand combat as well as boxing. I am training to hopefully get onto the paralympic track cycling team one day and I work hard and push myself to make sure I deliver quality output. I´ve done extras work before and I feel my disability could be useful (I use a variety of prostheses) in simulating limb loss in a battle or by use of interesting props, such as a warrior with a wooden leg. I´m a huge fan of the genre and also the books and not least importantly, the show. I´m from the North of England (Liverpool) but my accent is somewhat unique I´m told. Game of Thrones has taken me and I’m simply dying to participate in something that could be a once in a lifetime shot. You don’t have shows like this everyday.
