My favourite role was when we did Terry Pratchetts ‘Wyrd Sisters’ and I got to play Magrat the youngest of the three witches. I pledge fealty to house Tyrell. I was recently an extra for a soon to be featured film and it required many long hours of being in 95 degree, and above, heat, for 4 days in a row. More than 9 people fell ill during the production but I was sure to keep myself in good health with plenty of water and sunblock. Also, I have gone through on film acting classes and voice over classes, and have experience as a freelance voice over artist, featured in the upcoming demo release of the PC game, Hazewalker. It features my voice in a medieval type of setting as I enact several grunts, dying screams, and attacks for the heroine’s exert palette; something I think could possibly be a relevant skill for the Game of Throne’s extras. But there’s a saying in my country in wich you understand that if you don’t try, then probabilities are zero. Now they might be 1 to a billion. But they exist. And that satisfies me enough. Although my mother language is portuguese I am perfectly aware of my full capacities of english. I make my mistakes, just like everybody, but i truly think that dominating two languages is crucial for everybody’s future in the work market. So I try my best to dominate english and, of course, portuguese. GoT is going to be recorded in Sevilha so, in a way, maybe I’m not that far from this dream of acting. I am used to speak in public. I have also performed in numerous theater performances in my life (I know, I know, a short life 😉 since I attend an amateur theater school. I am perfectly aware that GoT requires professionals, not amateurs. But I also know my abilities and I find myself quite capable of being in GoT cast. Also, in portuguese, amateur is said as “amador”. And in portuguese, love means “amor”. These two words, in portuguese, rhyme. And that may be the most beautiful coincidence that exists. Acting comes with love. And when you do it as an amateur, love is just as big as when you do it as a professional. And I do think that, in me, both love and ability exist.Since I have brown hair and brown eyes I think I would suit perfectly in one of Oberyn’s daughters. Should you choose me? Hell yeah! Well like eeeeeveryone else who has commented I love the Game of Thrones series and books but the difference is I’ve pretty much been living the series my whole life. It sounds crazy and dont worry there are no killings in my personal story (well none besides the so called “accidental” killing of my little brother by an idiot on the road but thats a different story). The thing is I have had to adapt to lies, betrayal, loss, the usual things everyone goes through in their short lives but yeah the thing is this series and I mean the books have been a getaway place for me when i’ve hit the lowest lows. When I read a good book and only good books, I become the story. Its amazing. Everyone considered the show the best the school had done in years, and that my acting in the show had been excellent. I have been acting all my life, meaning, I mimic characters from movies/TV, trying to see their point of view, trying to do their personal gestures and movement. Having always been fascinated by swords, swinging sticks around, trying to learn to actually swing a real one from various sources, I believe that I could handle a sword with little training. As religion is a big part of not only the books, but the show also, I can tell you I have a good deal of knowledge about religion, as my father grew up in Asia, telling me of Hindu and Islam, and being a Christian myself.I do have an accent, but I can lose that soon enough.
