I have been performing most of my adult life. i started out singing on cruise ships, I performed at the Trump Palace, I was employed with Disney Resorts and went all over the world singing.. I would love to sing with Kelly Clarkson. I know we could do a Duet and it be great .

I am a great singer. However, I have not been given the chance to show my talent because I am disabled. I have multiple sclerosis and lupus. People like me are ignored by most shows because there is a stigma against disabled people. But I want to prove that I am more than my disability. I am ABLE to sing. All I need is a chance. I am a pop singer and I also do a little country and hiphop. Ive been singing since I was 3 years old. Singing is my life. I even sing in my sleep.
I would like to try out. I have done alot of auditions and I didn’t make it I was told that I am good but at this time I am not what they are looking for. I have been doing alot trying to get heard and noticed as well. The events I have attended is American Idol twice, X Factor twice one in person and a video clip through their site, sending in a video clip to the voice soon, Travis Porter showcase (competition) presenting our original song, auditioned online through youtube for america’s got talent, X factor again on youtube, Dr. Phil to help make me a star. Constantly posting my own originals and doing other songs as well. I feel like I have grown since last year when I last sung someone like you by adele. This year I am putting my all into it and hoping and praying that someone noticed me and is willing to help me in any of the weakness they think I may have. I have also auditioned to be in a movie called “Lost Flight” to be an extra and I made it so that’s already been played but not yet to be recognized. Recently sent my songs to Conrad Dimanche (Use to be on Making the Band 4) and he liked it. I was searching for a producer or music manager and I talked to him on the phone and he inspired me to write to have something to promote so now I can’t stop. I have been performing for 16 years. My experience and passion for singing and performing makes me a great choice for your show. I put my heart and soul into every song because I believe in connecting, not only with the song, but with the audience. If I don’t believe in what I’m singing about neither will they. I have also been singing harmony on many shows for the last 10 years and I have performed duets with many of them. There is no doubt you guys should pick me to audition for this show. I have been singing ever since I could talk. I remember singing harmony with my mother in the car when I was a little girl. When I was in the 6th grade, I sang a song that I wrote in front of about 300 people. I have been in choir ever since it was available and have been classically trained for 10 + years. I can meld well with almost any genre of music and I love every chance I get to sing in new, exciting opportunities. I have always wanted an opportunity like this, and I know this could be my chance!
Just like everyone else, I love to sing. It is my passion and my calling. I’d love an opportunity at being on the show with any one of the judges/partners. I have an eclectic mix of influences and can sing anything from Soul/R&B to Pop to Country to Rock. I have a large range and can bring power when needed and soften it up in the next phrase. I’m currently a frontman in an originals Rock band while not working my day job installing ATMs. I’m getting older and looking for that one shot.

I believe that I would be a perfect candidate for your show because I was always made fun of and not really that confident in myself and I always believed that I would never amount to anything but ever since I was young and saw American Idol I knew that I could possibly amount to something. I never miss a chance to sing, I use it was a comfort and turn to it when I’m down. Songs such as Beautiful make me feel like no matter what anyone says I will always be pretty. And I feel like I could be a great example to girls who feel the same way and who have been bullied or possibly more. I’ve been through a lot of ups and downs in my life but if you would give me the chance to show that I’ve got talent then I will know that not everything is hard or full of pain.

I have auditioned for American Idol and America’s Got Talent but did not make the cut. I honestly just want to sing my heart out to country music. Hi I have so much talent ever since I was young I always loved to be a country music singer and I always wished to be on TV with Jenifer Nettles she has great voice and singing her songs were my favorite. When I was young I started listening to country music and fell in love with music. My Paretns got me a karaoke and I would sing heart and soul just like I was on duets. I would like to be partners with Jenifer. But my second cousin Jordan Meredith should stay on duets if I got the chance she will need to stay with me. Growing up was a bit like a roller coaster…. times were much like the thrill of climbing to the top of the track and then quickly turned into the unexpected and rapid drop to the bottom. The one thing I had to lean on was my music. From the time I was five years old, I have always found a release in singing and song writing. My daily ordeals became lyrical poetry that ended up as my own personal sound track. With diverse influences such as classic rock, blues, pop, and country, my writing and singing style became universal. Now, nearly twenty years later, I have matured both as a person as well as an artist and have not given up the search for my “open door”. A chance to compete on Duets would not only be an amazing opportunity, but could also be the key to my future. I would love for nothing more than to be considered as a strong competitor in this competition.
My passion for performing has been instilled in me since I was able to speak. Although only born in 1993 and only 19 years old, I vibe off of soulful, classic singers such as Phyllis Hyman, Anita Baker, Brenda Russell, The Stylistics, Diana Ross, Luther Vandross, Shanice, Whitney Houston, India Arie, Boys II Men, Vesta Williams, Frank Cinatra, El DeBarge, Atlantic Starr, Mariah Carey, Kenny Loggins, Christina Aguilera, BeBe and CeCe Winans, Natalie Grant, Tevin Campbell, and my all time favorite singer, Celine Dion. Singing has been my love in life, and it’s been my resting place of peace whenever I couldn’t find the words to speak. I would sing anything that flowed from within me; any emotions of hurt or pain I was feeling, I would express through heart wrenching, deep intensity. Any joyous or happy emotions, I would sing with a wide smile, and facial expressions to keep anyone entertained. I love harmonizing, as well as playing with different notes to see how they flow with one another. Kelly Clarkson has been one of my musical mentors since I was young; her soulful passion behind each verse brought tears to my eyes. Struggling with ADHD and Dyslexia in school and my home life, her words have kept me uplifted, and push me even further to achieve my dreams. God has implanted the dream of becoming a singer in me since I was a little girl, and I’m running after my passion, with God guiding me step by step. Most people would say you would not regret placing them on your show; I just want to make a difference in others lives, and inspire any young artist out there to chase your dreams, go against all probable odds, and believe that anything is possible in life. Teaching was my profession, and it gave me a great deal to wonderful memories. When I was 50yos, I decided that it was time to start relearning the craft, and so I choose the three avenue of Jazz, Opera and Musical Theatre, of which my preference is “singing my heart out” and hoping someone will enjoy what they hear. I believe that everyone has a talent. My talent just so happens to be singing. I can’t live without it. It’s like air or food. Singing keeps me alive, makes me happy. I have been singing since the age of 3. I continued my education to become clasically trained as well as pursue a career in opera. I went to Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore to achieve my graduate degree in voice. I achieved my degree in the year of 2008, but also lost my father in the process, as well as giving birth to a beautiful baby boy. It was a bittersweet moment for me, but I continued on. I always wanted to do something with my talent to make my father proud. So, being a part of this show will, I believe, make him smile in heaven. I am 54 year old amazing tenor singer. I belong on this show because I am one of the greatest undiscovered singers on this planet; on top of this, i am second to none as a drummer. This show would be making a huge mistake by not giving me this chance to prove myself.
I have dreamed many times of showcasing the talent GOD gave me, but never did I think a forum like this would open up. I would trul loved to part of such a wonderful opportunity to sing along side of some of the most talented artist.
I Have been singing since I was about 4 years old. My dad would record me singing any song that he thought would make me a star. He even made up songs for me to sing and would put them on cassettes to play back for friends and family. I was always in concert choir from elementary school to high school and would often be given solos to perform in front of the whole school and for our town hall, once people found out that I could sing they didnt want me to stop. I and everyone I know believes my singing ability is at the same level as most other artists out today.
I have been singing since the age of 10 I sang in my first talent show at that age at Pontiac Elementary, singing Whitney Houston’s I believe in you and me. I am a alto, and soprano, I have a very pretty range and love all genres of music, Not if, but WHEN I make it big, I want a diverse album, that people can see all the sides of me and how I like to have fun with all types of genres of music. I have been singing for so long, and have not given up, I WON’T give up. I come from a household of 6 with my mother raising all 5 children, when my dad left out at the age when I was 7 years old. I am encouraged a lot by God Family and friends to pursue my dream. My mom tells me I will have 1000 No’s before that one Yes, and when I get that Yes to be ready when opportunity presents itself, and since I’m not getting any younger, I believe my time is approaching, because I have great faith. Also one day I will be able to buy my mom a big house, and we won’t ever have to live in Hotels again, and her worrying about us getting evicted because low income.I would really like to work with Robin Thick because he’s one of my favorite Male artist,and I like his style, and how he stands out, I like to sing his songs but make them my own, with my favorite being “Lost Without You”. I would love for ABC to give me the opportunity to work with Robin, and also make this a learning and growing experience on being an hungry upcoming artist in the industry, and working with him and giving me advice on how I can even become BETTER at what I love to do. I pray that this gets into the right persons hands, and I’m picked for the new season to be on the Show.!
I feel that I should be considered because music is my life. I love writing music, singing music, listening to music. I have been watching the show Duets from the beginning and I feel that I would be an asset to the show. I would like to sing with any of them truthfully, I just want a chance to be heard. I have been told that I sound like R. Kelly, J. Holiday, and Brian McKnight. There are other artists that I have been told that I sound like as well, but I have a unique style of my own that I would love to have heard. One other thing that is needed to be known about me is that I am legally blind.

Hi, I think I should be apart of the show Duets because not only am I a great solo singer I know how to blend well with others. I have sung in a chor from junior high all the way through my college yrs, while singing at church. Once I was n 2 choirs. I have great credentials and proof that I really can sing. I just need one shot to showcase my talent somewhere. I have been rejected from Idol, the X factor, the voice and sundays best. I have to get a ton of no’s before I can get a yes. And since Im more interested in Duets than all the other shows I auditioned for, will u finally be the one to say yes?? Please

Hi my name’s Emily! I’m 18 years old and I have just recently graduated High School. I’ve been singing since I was a little girl…but of course I sound a lot better now because I’m older haha. I’ve never had a voice lesson in my life. I would always sing in the shower and never thought anything of it until my friends and family had me sing for them when we had get togethers, or on holidays. Singing makes me happy. When i’m in a bad mood, I sing because it makes me smile and brings me joy. I’ve been in choir for nine years. I started in 3rd grade and started it up again my sophomore year in High School. I watch this show every week. I love all the judges, I don’t really think I have a favorite! I would be good for this show because I have a fun personality and a great voice! And I know i’m young. I understand if I don’t make it. But that won’t stop me from singing or achieving my goals, dreams, and true happiness!
