A little about me; I live in Florida, I love to sing and act, I took drama for two years and chorus for one in high school and I was in two shows during those years, the first being Pride and Prejudice, where I played Uncle Gardiner; and Titanic: The Musical, where I played Henry Etches (both put on by St. John’s County Center For the Arts). I won an award for outstanding performance in Titanic. I began college at the Florida School of the Arts (on a talent scholarship) after I graduated high school. Not long after I started, I was forced to withdraw from the semester due to medical reasons and I lost my scholarship. Right now I work at a pizza place and I actually like it, but acting is my dream job. I can’t ignore that. I love acting because it lets you tell someone else’s story through your own actions and interpretations. It isn’t pretending to be someone you’re not. It’s discovering another side of yourself and letting it show. It’s vaulnerability, but it’s also strength. Darrick ConroyHowdy! So, I am another one of these desperate people trying to land a role on their favorite television series. And why shouldn’t we be desperate? This is a chance of a lifetime, so why shouldn’t we take that chance? My favorite television series is Once Upon a Time. It is daring, charismatic, charming, thought provoking, and magical. It is not about the pivotal and iconic battle of good vs. evil, but it is about that struggle with your inner demons, your past and present failures, and the uncertainty of the future…mixed in with some fairytale razzle dazzle. Every actor/actress brings something unique to the series; Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas bring something magical, something both foreign and familiar all at once. Their chemistry is divine and their subtly in their gesticulations and their interactions are beautiful. They, and the majority of the cast of OUAT are my idols. Their is a characteristic within each actor/actress/role that I would love to emulate or make my own. And to have that chance to work with some of my idols would be a dream come true. Now, I am not going to sit here in my college classroom and say that “I am the best choice” or “I am so talented” or “I am the greatest.” I know those to be untrue. I know many actors/actresses who are just as talented, maybe even more so. I work with them everyday! I can say I work hard and I am diligent and quirky to say the least. I am 20 years old (at least I will be in 19 days), I have Hazel Eyes, I am Caucasian, I am 6’1″, I am a Junior here at the University of the Ozarks, Clarksville, AR. I have been performing since I was a little boy, so I have been in many church, high school, and college level productions. I have a lot to learn, so I find it in my best interest to just be me and not come across as grandiose or boastful. I am just a human being trying to make his mark upon the world. Isabella is not a shy girl and she lives to perform. She is the vest child candidate because she simply loves to entertain people.
